18 Mar TOP SECRET:: My Favorite Spring Pencil Skirts

The weather is starting to slowly warm up and I can’t wait! We just returned from a trip to California where we were able to pull out our shorts and skirts again. It reminded me of my favorite sunny day staple to my closet that I wanted to share with you. I have found a TOP SECRET clothing item that helps me survive the hot summer and still keeps my style going. I have an insane collection of these simple cotton pencil skirts that come in a variety of different colors. I love them because you can dress them up with a fancier top or dress them down with a v-neck tee tucked in with a statement necklace.

Finding these skirts has been a lifesaver for my wardrobe on a warm day… they are so comfortable to wear daily as your chasing around your little one or when you want to feel a little more dressed up. The other great part is they are so affordable, under $20! Oh and did I mention they come in like a million colors, I did… well I will say it again. I love to even color block with these skirts… by wearing my lilac tee with my raspberry pencil skirt or my peach top with my orange pencil skirt. There are so many options and colors for any style.

I love to color block with these skirts… These are the color tees I would pair with these color skirts!

1- lilac tee with my raspberry pencil skirt
2- Cobalt Blue with my plum pencil skirt
3- peach top with my orange pencil skirt
4- light pink with my lime pencil skirt

There are so many options and colors for any style. Have a look at the link and choose a few colors that you like.

J-Crew Vintage V-neck Tee are some of my favorite tees to pair with the cotton pencil skirt. They also come in a variety of colors and are a great fit. I like the lightness but yet thickness of the cotton that J-Crew uses. J-Crew has 25% off these tees with the coupon SPRINGSALE

Since I’m sharing some of my Top Secrets with you, I think it’s safe to say we’re now besties! Have a great Wednesday everyone! xoxo -Kaylee

Awesome tip! So cute. What is the fit like on the skirt? True to size? It says on the size guide 12-14 is a Large, Usually that is like an XL so just wondering about the fit. THX!

Hey Erika! I think they run pretty true to size… I also love that they are not too thin of a fabric which a lot of cotton skirts can be. You’ll love them!
